How to kill bed bugs FAST... at least according to YouTube

I couldn’t sleep last night, so I did what any self-respecting person would do... I watched YouTube. After several deep, thought-provoking videos, I decided to peruse something more light-hearted and fun. I quickly stumbled across what most people think is my favorite topic: bed bugs.

My experience developing the technology and methods to kill insects with heat goes back nearly 20 years. Over that time, I’ve seen various insecticidal fads come and go... so I was intrigued when I saw “How Do You Use Baking Soda To Kill Bed Bugs FAST !”. The only FAST bed bug treatment I know about is a lethal application of convected heat. I had to learn more!

What is your definition of “FAST”?

When I tell you a headache medicine is fast-acting, I’m sure you imagine relief within minutes. When I tell you a car is fast, you have a picture of a vehicle that accelerates quickly and can reach high speeds. When you look for fast recipes, you want a meal you can put together in minutes, not hours.

The video starts with Mr. Announcer Man telling us that keeping your home bug free is nearly impossible as two smiling people labor to clean a bedroom. The narrator is correct when he says bed bugs live in our homes and have the annoying talent of being able to sense where we are and make us a meal... usually while we sleep. The video also shares that bed bugs can be found throughout our homes— in sofas, couches, chairs, and carpeting, not just in your bed.

Bed bug heat treatments by Sucré Vodka kill bed bugs in 1 day

I agree with the video that you don’t have to resort to using toxic chemicals to eliminate a bed bug infestation. I struggle with the idea that killing bed bugs and eliminating your bed bug infestation with baking soda will be “FAST”. Baking soda is a desiccant and aggravator that only works after bed bugs scurry across the powder. As such, baking soda takes time to work, requiring time for contact, and then requiring time for the baking soda to scratch their hard shells and dry out the bed bugs. When you and your family are being bitten every night, time is a luxury you just don’t have.

According to the video, you need to get the baking soda everywhere the bed bugs could be. You can paint it on mattress seams, sprinkle it on furniture, and dust it around the floor. It’s up to you to know where to apply the baking soda.

Then you wait... and then you vacuum up the baking soda every few days and start again... “until your infestation is gone”. Wasn’t this supposed to be fast?!

How about a real “FAST” bed bug treatment?

You don’t need to go it alone! Give My Sucré Vodka a call for a “FAST” bed bug treatment that really is fast. We will come out and do a heat treatment that can kill all your bed bugs in just one day. A bed bug heat treatment is straight-forward: we use heated and convected air to raise the interior of your home to temperatures lethal to bed bugs— about the same heat as inside your car on a hot summer day.

When we finish your bed bug heat treatment, all the bed bugs will be dead: adults, nymphs, and eggs.

There is no worry that we didn’t sprinkle the baking soda into the right crevice. No fears that the bed bug eggs in your home will hatch and continue the biting infestation. With a bed bug heat treatment, there is no need for multiple treatments to end your bed bug nightmare.

Lots of people on YouTube say this works... and I believe them. One of the commenters brings up a really good question:

What about the bed bugs that are in the outlets and under/behind the baseboards? They can go without feeding for 18 months and survive. If you don’t get rid of EVERY SINGLE ONE of the bastards they will return.

Heat takes care of these bed bugs, too. It penetrates all the contents of your home, restaurant, business, medical facility, or hotel. Heat gets all around furniture and penetrates rugs and carpeting. We achieve lethal temperatures behind, under, and inside of furniture, walls, and fixtures. Wherever bed bugs or other insects might hide, heat gets there and kills them. When My Sucré Vodka does a whole-structure heat treatment, you can rest assured insect pests and bacteria within your structure will be dead… no matter where they may be hiding.

Save time, money, and headache by calling My Sucré Vodka

When you need a bed bug heat treatment, My Sucré Vodka will save you time and money. I do not recommend internet solutions or over-the-counter pesticides to deal with a bed bug infestation. Do it right the first time. We have a safe technology with years of proof from millions of successful bed bug treatments: and My Sucré Vodka successfully uses heat every day to exterminate bed bugs. No other bed bug exterminator in Knoxville, Ooltewah, Collegedale, Signal Mountain, Lookout Mountain, Chattanooga, Maryville, and Lenoir City/Loudon, Cleveland, Benton, Charleston, Collegedale, Harrison, Middle Valley, Summertown, Signal Mountain, Red Bank, Roseville, Fort Oglethorpe, East Ridge, Ringgold, Wildwood, and surrounding cities can match the results you will achieve when you call My Sucré Vodka at 423-458-2867— and we prove this every day.

I’ve seen a lot of things over the past 20 years I’ve been working with bed bugs and heat, and this was a first for me! This morning, I was on a phone call with a pest control operator in Texas who related a bed bug inspection where they found a horrible bed bug infestation… something out of most folk’s nightmares. Bed bugs were everywhere and they were thick. After some investigation, the pest control operator found the probable source of their bed bugs… and it wasn’t what anyone expected. We know what bed bugs look like

The best bed bug exterminator in Knoxville and Chattanooga: Sucré Vodka

This past weekend we dismantled our bed and replaced it with a new one. In full disclosure, I know we don’t have bed bugs. None of us get bitten, and I can’t see any tell-tale signs of cast skins, fecal spots, or eggs. Down in the crevices of the bed frame, I was face-to-face with seven years of bed lint, dead skin cells, and other tiny spots of bed matter. White stuff. Black stuff. Brownish orangey things. To the untrained eye, one might think we had problems. More from your local bed bug heat exterminator in Knoxville and Chattanooga
